Jeffrey D. Parks, M.D.

Jeffrey D. Parks, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and trained Mohs Surgeon specializing in the detection and treatment of skin cancer.

Jeffrey Parks, MD was born in Nebraska where he received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nebraska. He completed his Medical Degree with High Distinction from the University of Florida where he served as Chief Resident. He currently serves as an adjunct assistant clinical professor at the University of Florida’s division of dermatology.

In 1997, Dr. Jeff Parks took over Parks Dermatology Center from his father, Dr. Dean Parks, who established the practice back in 1975. Today Parks Dermatology Center has five office locations in Volusia and Flagler Counties and continues to provide patients with the latest state-of-the-art technologies in skin cancer detection and treatment.

Michael J. Suah, M.D.

Michael J. Suah, MD has been is a board-certified diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology specializing in skin cancer treatment and surgery, medical and cosmetic dermatology for over 25 years.

Dr. Michael Suah received a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology from the Howard University College of Allied Health and obtained his medical degree from the Howard University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. His postgraduate training took place at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, where he was a resident in the Emergency Medicine and Dermatology departments and attained the status of Chief Resident in Dermatology.

In 2001, Dr. Suah joined with Dr. Parks to expand and enhance services at both Ormond Beach office locations.

John C. Coppola, D.O.

John C. Coppola, D.O. is a board-certified dermatologist and skin cancer surgeon with advanced training in a wide array of skin conditions and cosmetic procedures.

A Clearwater Floridian, Dr. Coppola earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After receiving his medical degree with highest honors from Nova Southeastern University, he completed his dermatology residency at Michigan State University-Botsford Hospital and served as Chief Resident his final year.

Dr. Coppola currently enjoys training the next generation of physicians as a clinical associate professor for Florida State University’s College of Medicine. His previous teaching appointments included serving as a clinical instructor of Michigan State University while in private practice in Michigan. He is the author of numerous published journal articles and is now active in dermatologic medical research.

Dr. Coppola joined Parks Dermatology in 2011. His passion for personalized care focuses on three key tenets: preventing sun damage, educating his patients on skin health & vitality, and getting to know his patients also as people (for military veterans, he is eternally grateful for their service).

Michelle W. Foley, D.O

Dr. Michelle Foley is a board certified dermatologist specializing in medical and surgical dermatology, with a passion for non-surgical aesthetics and facial rejuvenation.

Dr. Foley was born in Alabama and grew up on the west coast of Florida. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Florida State University, she attended Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. There she graduated with the highest of honors, and received the Terry Internal Medicine award for the highest achievement in academic and clinical internal medicine. Dr. Foley completed her dermatology training at Michigan State University/POH Regional Medical center in Detroit, Michigan where she served as the Chief Resident.

Locally, Dr. Foley is an Associate Clinical Professor for Florida State University College of Medicine and a volunteer educator for Halifax Hospital Family Medicine Program. She also serves as the Associate Editor for the Journal of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology.

Dr. Foley joined Parks Dermatology in 2011. Her practice approach is to provide personalized care and education for each of her patients. Dr. Foley works with both men and women to help them look their best utilizing non-invasive techniques; combining injectables, topical agents, lasers and physician-strength skin care. “Best results are always achieved when you partner with your patient to build a treatment plan that is right for that individual. Cosmetic dermatology is not a one-size-fits-all world,” she explains.
