Tracy Shibla, Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
An advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) is a RN who has completed advanced coursework and clinical education beyond that required of the generalist registered nurse (RN) role. According to the International Council of Nurses, an NP/advanced practice registered nurse is a registered nurse who has acquired the knowledge base, decision-making skills, and clinical competencies for expanded practice beyond that of an RN, the characteristics of which would be determined by the context in which he or she is credentialed to practice.”
Tracy Shibla is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and licensed through the Florida Board of Nursing. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with both her Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing, specializing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program.
Tracy has over 12 years of diverse, comprehensive medical experience, but her passion is dermatology. Her experience has ranged from working in the hospital, primary care, long-term care, pain management, urgent care, and dermatology settings.
Tracy specializes in treating patients of all ages in general dermatology, but has an interest in hair loss and cosmetic procedures. She is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Society of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association.
Tracy is a native of Jersey Shore and enjoys her time outside of work with her teenage daughter. Together, they love to run, bike, hike, and play tennis. They love to travel together, especially back to the Jersey Shore. They have traveled to various parts of the United States as well as Canada, Costa Rica, and all of the Bahamian Islands.
