Dr. Krishnamurthy (Dr. K) is a Board-certified Dermatologist and Board-certified Mohs Surgeon, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, Past President of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Academy of Dermatology. He graduated from the University of Missouri with dual degrees in Biochemistry and Medicinal Chemistry and received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University.  Dr. K completed his dermatology training at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City, serving as Chief Resident.

Given his exposure to the varied culture, ethnicity, skin-types, and demographics in New York City, Dr. K is an expert in complex medical dermatology, especially psoriasis, vitiligo, auto-immune diseases (lupus), as well as dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic/injectable dermatology.  He is often called upon as a media expert, contributing to The New York Times, The L.A. Times, Washington Post, WebMD, CBS News, Yahoo News, Good Housekeeping, and Weather.com. 

Dr. K relocated to Greater Jacksonville with his wife, Dr. Aneesa Krishnamurthy (Rheumatologist) and twin sons. With a continued passion for teaching, Dr. K  began the ACGME-accredited Dermatology Residency Training Program in 2015 with Orange Park Hospital, serving as the Program Director and teaching daily.
